The Solitary Athlete

Had my very first indoor session on the new bike yesterday. An hour of CTS session and struggling as usual, with tongue hanging off the side. However, I did find that it was very stiff to ride, compared to my other bike.

Was it just my imagination after having shelled out the money?

This evening was followed by a small run around the block. Perhaps its because I have not had sufficient sleep of late, I was feeling somewhat lackluster towards the end. Not to mention that I haven’t swam for a week, the arms are sure to suffer in the coming week.

In the afternoon, we went shopping and I can’t believe I actually bought the first seasons of both “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Queer as Folk”. I’ve never really been much of a DVD fan, so I was pretty amazed myself. But they were well-priced, I could not let it pass. Hehe.
